Ambitious For All


The South West Regional Centre is a delivery support agent for the effective development of Children and Young People’s services, which operates as a regional hub for programme development, information coherence, integrated and aligned working.

At the heart of our work is the professional development of all those working with children and young people and the effective management of change.

The Centre aims to support a culture of ambitious change. We provide clear and coherent learning and support and communication in a national and regional context. We achieve this through bespoke training and events, tailored support and programme design in areas such as Leadership, Extended Services and School Improvement, Health, Well-Being and Safeguarding.

Our activity is framed by a commitment to effective integrated working. We work closely with key regional and national partners to achieve coherent and collaborative outcomes.
 

Aims of the South West Regional Centre:

  •     A workforce that is ambitious for children, young people and their families
  •     Shared best and next practice across networks
  •     Appropriate use of communication and personal learning network tools
  •     A regional conduit between TDA, NCL, Children England, Voluntary Sector,
      Government Office, CWDC, LAs and Schools
  •     Extended reach and impact of information, networks and programmes
  •     Challenging practice and inspiring well-being
  •     Supporting sustainable change by being outcome and impact focused.
