This event brought together local authority officers to promote greater collaborative working and improved alignment
of the programmes in order to improve the services offering to families and improve outcomes for children, parents and communities.

26th November 2009- PSA Leads & Personal Tutor Meeting
PSA Leads Sharing Day included:
How PSAs are supporting other agencies, Practice Standards for the south west,
Promoting work within Health, Sharing of current issues and success.
Personal Tutors Sharing Day will include:
Sharing of issues and successes, Safeguarding,Torbay model of
Personal Tutoring, Lipson Community College model of Personal Tutoring.
There will be an opportunity to network between PSA leads and Personal Tutor leads and a session to explore joint working.
30th November 2009 - Special Schools Symposium
We have organised this small scale symposium to look at issues and solutions around
developing and sustaining Extended Services for special school children and young people.
